Aden Indonesia is excited to announce that we are kicking off our newest remote camp management project with PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk at their Pani Gold Project in Gorontalo, North Sulawesi. This is another exciting milestone for us in Indonesia, where we are now managing +30 camps across the country, and helping clients achieve the best level of efficiency and sustainability in IFM (integrated facility management) operations; strong and supportive ties with the local community; and a supply chain that finds the optimal balance of local and national/ global procurement.
With this project, we believe we have built a particularly sustainable model of community integration and investment. A full 85% of our staff will be hired from local communities and receive ongoing development and training, ensuring that the success of the Pani Gold project is also the success of local communities. Our food service team will also be committing to local purchase of produce and other perishables whenever feasible, reducing the Scope 3 impact of daily operations as we serve the camp’s +800 employees.
